These days, everybody's trying to raise money, from traditional charities to sports teams to churches, community groups and a myriad of other non-profit organizations.
A live professional comedy show is a great vehicle for raising funds and building community for your charity, organization, team, church or other group.
A first-class show becomes an event people look forward to attending all year long. When done right, it's also low-maintenance and turn-key -- saving wear-and-tear on your organization's already overtaxed volunteers.
There are a number of approaches people take to raise money with comedy shows, and a variety of pricing and service options. An organization can hold its own show (for a budget that makes sense), or it can sell tickets to a show in a theater for a percentage of the ticket price. There are other several other options as well.
